Gælleo Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Gælleo app and website, operated by Becato LLC, 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("we", "us"). By using Gælleo you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Gælleo lets you browse, buy, and unlock digital artwork and send it, over your home Wi-Fi, to a compatible TV with an art mode (for example Samsung The Frame, and other Samsung TVs with Art Mode). You can also send your own photos.

Gælleo is an independent app. It is not made, endorsed, or supported by Samsung. "Samsung" and "The Frame" are trademarks of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., used only to describe compatibility.

2. Compatibility

The app uses your TV's local network interface. TV models, firmware updates, or network settings may affect compatibility, and features may stop working if a manufacturer changes its software. Check that your TV is supported before buying. We will help where we can, but we cannot guarantee that every TV will work.

3. Purchases

3.1 Purchases are processed either by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), under their terms, or, where available, through our own checkout processed by Stripe. Applicable sales tax or VAT is added at checkout. Refunds for store purchases are requested from Apple or Google; for purchases through our checkout, contact us within 14 days if the artwork cannot be displayed on your TV.

3.2 What you buy is a license, not ownership. When you buy or unlock artwork, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download it and display it on screens you own or control, for non-commercial use. You may not resell, share, print for sale, redistribute, or use the artwork in commercial settings (such as a business display) without the artist's permission.

3.3 Codes. Codes included with purchases on other platforms (such as Etsy) unlock the matching collection in the app. Codes are single-use unless stated otherwise and have no cash value.

3.4 If an artwork is removed from the store, you keep access to artwork you already bought, except where it was removed for legal reasons (for example a valid copyright claim).

4. Your photos

Photos you send from your device go directly to your TV over your local network. We do not upload them to our servers.

5. Acceptable use

Do not: misuse or attempt to break the app or our servers; scrape or bulk-download artwork; use the app to infringe anyone's rights; report artwork in bad faith.

6. Artwork by independent sellers

Most artwork is created by independent sellers who confirm they own the rights. If you believe an artwork infringes your rights, use Report this artwork in the app or follow our DMCA Policy.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not responsible for damage to your TV or devices resulting from use of manufacturer interfaces outside our control.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms and will show the date above. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA, except where your local consumer law gives you rights that cannot be waived.
