What to include in a notice

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
3. Identification of the artwork on Gælleo (title, seller name, or a screenshot) so we can find it.
4. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

What we do

We review notices promptly and remove or disable access to the artwork when appropriate, and notify the seller.

Counter-notice (for sellers)

If your artwork was removed by mistake, send a counter-notice to the agent with: your signature; identification of the removed artwork; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake; your name, address and phone; and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or Wyoming if you are outside the US). We may restore the artwork 10 to 14 business days later unless the claimant tells us they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

Sellers with repeated valid infringement notices will have their accounts terminated.
